Deb Bulmer attended North Hennepin
Community College in the paralegal program. She joined Kinney & Lange in 2000, and manages the firm’s
patent and trademark dockets.
Prior to joining Kinney and Lange, Deb worked as a Paralegal in Faegre &
Benson’s Intellectual Property group for six years. In her spare time, Deb
enjoys movies, books, and spending time with her children..

Jon S. Bassewitz
received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Comparative
Studies Discourse and Society. He has taught at the University
of Hartford, the Walker Art Center, and as an adjunct faculty member
at the University of Minnesota.
Before coming to Kinney & Lange Jon worked for 10 years as a legal assistant at Skadden,
Arps in New York City.
In his free time Jon enjoys canyoneering in the Four Corners Region,
traveling and camping with his wife and daughter, and he performs
volunteer work for Chabad-Lubavitch of West Saint Paul.

Barry Koepke received his Bachelor of Science and Master
of Science degrees in Metallurgical
Engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana and his Ph.D.
degree in Metallurgy from Iowa State University, in Ames, Iowa.
Prior
to joining Kinney & Lange, Barry spent a career at Honeywell and
Alliant Techsystems in R&D and Operations Management. During
that time he was an Adjunct Professor of Materials Science at the
University of Minnesota and (on leave from Honeywell) Director of
the Ceramics Research Program at the National Science Foundation,
Washington, D.C.
Barry is a member of
Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi, Sigma Tau, Phi Kappa Phi, and Alpha Sigma Mu
honor societies and is a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society.
He has published over 50 papers and has 6 patents.
