Catherine A. Shultz
earned her Juris
Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame Law School, in
South Bend, Indiana. While there, she attended the Concannon
Programme of International Law, spending her second year at Notre
Dame’s London Campus. She received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
from the University of Minnesota, was actively involved in the
Society of Women Engineers, and served as president of civil
engineering honors society Chi Epsilon her senior year.
Catherine is
licensed by the Minnesota Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. She
primarily practices patent and trademark prosecution and
litigation.
Prior to
joining Kinney & Lange, Catherine worked as a Junior Field Engineer
for Schlumberger Oilfield Wireline Services. She also worked as a
research assistant while in law school and spent a summer working at
the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office as a law clerk.
In her free
time, Catherine enjoys traveling, the arts, volunteering, and summers
spent outdoors.
