Professional Experience

Briar received her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, summa cum laude. While in law school, she served as an associate editor on the Hamline Law Review and was the Treasurer of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Additionally, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Sharon Sandeen.

Briar received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Prior to pursuing her bachelor's degree, Briar served for six years in the U.S. Navy as a linguist and intelligence analyst.

In her spare time Briar trains for and runs marathons, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
