An associate with Kinney & Lange, Kayla Pascoe focuses her practice on intellectual property law, including patents and trademarks. Kayla has experience successfully prosecuting patent applications in a number of technology fields including chemistry, biotechnology, nanotechnology, medical devices, material sciences, and mechanical engineering. This includes both US and international IP application filings and prosecution. Kayla regularly conducts freedom to operate and invalidity searches and advises clients on a wide range of intellectual property related issues.
Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Georgetown University and is a regular contributor to a local podcast discussing IP and legal issues. In her free time Kayla enjoys cross country skiing, knitting, and baking.
