Professional Experience

A technical specialist with Kinney & Lange, Michael Christie focuses his practice primarily on patent preparation and prosecution. This includes drafting patent applications, addressing resulting prosecution, providing recommendations for foreign patent applications, and conducting patentability searches. Michael works in a variety of technical areas, including aerospace, electrical, and mechanical applications, and has worked with individual inventors as well as large multinational corporations.

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut. During his undergraduate years, Michael worked as a research assistant studying African American education during the reconstruction era.

In his free time, Michael enjoys playing sports, going to the beach, and spending time with his friends.
