Paul Brozenec


Professional Experience

Paul Brozenec is an associate with Kinney & Lange. He primarily focuses his practice on patent law, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as conducting freedom-to-operate studies.

Paul received his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa Law School. During law school, Paul worked with Mark Osiel, a professor at Iowa Law, preparing research memorandums regarding international humanitarian law and international criminal law. Paul also worked with Lea VanderVelde, another professor at Iowa Law, by writing Python scripts to automate large portions of data analysis for her RAOS (Reconstruction Amendment Optical Scanning) project.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Iowa State University. During a portion of his time at Iowa State University, Paul worked with Katie Geist to complete various computational and research tasks related to genome sequencing. In his free time, Paul enjoys running, scripting, and teaching himself the piano.
